The 171,360 sheets of A4 paper used for this work correspond to the exact number of frames in the European version of The Shining, obtained
by multiplying the number of frames per second (24) by the duration of Kubrick's film (119 minutes). On the edge of the sheets stacked in nine columns next to the gallery wall, the artist has drawn in pencil the film poster, which is thus constructed sheet by sheet, a material and minimalist paraphrase of the film itself that comes to life frame by frame.
