"The first room features Matelda, a large-scale light installation in which old windows and frames are interwoven to create an immense allegorical garden. In this ethereal environment, a mother and child, oblivious to the disturbing figures of the wolf in the background and the soldier in the foreground, open pop-up books that gradually melt into the vegetation. This scene draws inspiration from The Divine Comedy , where Dante meets Matelda in an earlthy paradise where she guides him to truth, wisdom and reason."
