The large pencil drawing that forms the basis of this work was originally used to imprint the 144 A4 sheets of carbon paper that make up the work “Cosa importa se sono caduto” (What does it matter if I fell) (2011), dedicated to the artist's parents.
Mastrovito recovers this drawing for the 7th VAF Award exhibition at Macro in Rome and implements it by inserting nine Otis Redding vinyl covers from his father's collection. The title reworks one of the American singer's most famous songs, “I've Got Dreams To Remember” (1968).
