Mastrovito created this work for the seventh room of his paper museum of Postmodernism (GCAC, Monfalcone, 2006), evoking Damien Hirst's famous work of the same name, although here it is not just any cow that is dissected by the artist's cutter, but Franz Marc's Yellow Cow.
