Anyway the Wind Blows is Mastrovito's first experiment with video animation on a paper cutout set, which led a few months later, in November 2006, to the completion of Johnny. Both works are based on famous songs: Johnny on Metallica's “One” (1988), while Anyway the Wind Blows is based on Queen's “Bohemian Rhapsody” (1975).
