The work, composed of over three hundred pieces, is a synthesis of the city of Bergamo and its history, a large-format postcard, an instant overview of the cultural, artistic, architectural, historical, gastronomic, sporting, and religious traditions of the city. In the work, against the backdrop of the unmistakable profile of the upper town, you can recognize characters, buildings, and works from different eras that have shaped the city's history: Pope John XXIII, Garibaldi's soldiers, Bartolomeo Colleoni, Donizetti, Domenghini, Quarenghi, Moroni, Stromberg, Rastelli, Manzù, Gimondi, Beltrami, Cydno, Arlecchino, and many others can be found in this large mosaic enriched by glimpses of the Duomo and the Campanone, by Lorenzo Lotto's Puttini, who float and lead us with their movement into the artwork.
