Invited by Analix Forever Gallery (Geneva) to present a Solo Show in the section of the same name at the Art Brussels international fair, Mastrovito created a large installation based on a reflection on the theories of reproduction and accessibility of art and images in Walter Benjamin's famous essay “The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction.” Reflecting on the ease with which large-format images could be produced and copied from one's office or bedroom at home using a simple printer, the artist proposed a triptych consisting of 972 photocopies on A4 sheets, colored in two copies: one installed on the walls of the stand, the other bound in three volumes.
