Organized by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Monfalcone as part of ‘Vivere di cantiere - Monfalcone 1908.2008’, celebrations for the centenary of the Monfalcone Shipyard, Soft Cell connects the shipyard, an industrial forge, with the gallery, an artistic laboratory, to reinterpret Monfalcone's active role as an intermodal center open to research.
For the occasion, Andrea Mastrovito created his largest work with VHS tape, based on the cover of James Cameron's film Titanic, in open dialogue with the city's shipyards.
