"To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Galleria Gaburro, a group show transforms the space of the Galleria in via Cerva 25 of Milan into a theater of ideas, a choral celebration in which the narrative probes and investigates the status of the role of the gallery owner.
Thirty years after its foundation, Galleria Gaburro celebrates its history with an exhibition project that is, first of all, a story: a theatrical action in three acts, which will be staged from the 9th of October 2025 to the 10th of January 2026, curated by Matteo Scabeni, where the voice of the gallery owner is interwined with those of the artists, in a continuous comparison between past, present and future possibilities.
The artworks by Liu Bolin and JR, Marco Cingolani and Andrea Mastrovito, Emilio Isgrò and Ferdinando Scianna, Iain Andrews and Leyla Cardenas, Jan Fabre and Marina Abramovic, Daniel Spoerri and Ruben Montini, Hermann Nitsch and Andrea Cusumano reveal themselves as scenes, apparitions, testimonies of a fragile and powerful chorality, which transform the Gallery into a scenic space, a tragic machine, a living body."
