Tyler Spencer (born January 22, 1972), also known as Dick Valentine, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and author. He is best known as the lead vocalist, main lyricist, and co-founder of the rock band Electric Six.
In 2014, Dick Valentine began to write and publish a series of eight pornographic thriller books divided into two sets: from the first to the sixth, the novels are based on the sexy pulp misadventures of detective Bart Ducane, while the seventh and eighth books, published in 2022 and 2024, follow the story of Horace Ryder, a fancy pants back-east prep school ponce and his adventurous life in the Wild West.
2014 also saw the beginning of a collaboration between the author and Andrea Mastrovito, neighbors in Brooklyn, who created all eight cover art for the Dick Valentine's novels.
Initially conceived as audiobooks, all eight novels are also available in print.
