Andrea Mastrovito presented a series of four bas-relief collages entitled "LOVE KILLS: Historia Calamitarum mearum".
In these four big three-dimensional collages (110 x 190 x 15 cm each) expressly realized for the Coda Museum Exhibition, Andrea Mastrovito sums up the relations between the two dichotomous pairs love/death and fiction/reality, confronting the immortal archaic myth of three legendary couples - Paolo and Francesca, Tristan and Isolde, Romeo and Juliet - with the unavoidable destiny of a real medieval couple of lovers such as Abelard and Heloise.
