LE MONDE EST UNE INVENTION SANS FUTUR - FONDATION BULLUKIAN - BIENNALE DE LIONE, Lione
So far, this is one of Mastrovito's biggest solo show.
For this associated exhibition of the 15th Lyon's Biennial, Andrea Andrea Mastrovito has devised four large, site-specific installations that immerse the spectator. Drawing on his reflections on landscape, its displacement and shifts, the artist offers a rereading of the present, characterised either by the melancholy of an inescapable fate or by the enchantment of a life that is always born out of its own destruction.
The show also presents the French premiere of Mastrovito's famous "NYsferatu".
